Loma Linda Veterans Village - Grand Opening Event

Loma Linda Veterans Village
The grand opening for the Loma Linda Veterans Village was held earlier this month. Partners and residents came together to celebrate the opening of 87-units of affordable housing for low-income veterans and their families.

Loma Linda Veterans' Village provides homeless veterans a safe, stable setting in which they can work with Veterans Affairs case managers, nurses, and peer supporters to recover their mental and physical health.  They are surrounded by other Veteran households who are more likely to understand their service in the military and reside within ΒΌ mile of the V.A. Loma Linda Healthcare System, the principal source of primary care for Veterans in the inland Empire.

Life Steps also provides specialized service co-ordination, and education, health, and wellness, and skill building classes, tailored to meet the specific and timely needs of veteran tenants and their families.

This site was developed by META Housing Corporation in partnership with the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino, Housing Partners I, Inc. (an affiliate non-profit of the Housing Authority), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, County of San Bernardino, Veteran's Administration Loma Linda Healthcare Systems, and Life Steps.
