The Small Business Administration will host the Tri-State Lenders Forum Thursday May 23rd from 8:30-12:30 at the RCBI Huntington facility. CoWorks Co working and Community Development HUB

CoWorks was launched in May 2018 to provide flexible workspace in downtown Huntington, a concept that is new to this area, but extremely popular in other cities across the United States.

CoWorks believes that a successful co working space is more than simply offices, desks and comfy chairs. To maximize the local economic impact, CoWorks implements programming to support and nurture Huntington’s growing entrepreneurial and small business ecosystem.

Presentations, workshops, training sessions and business networking events will provide opportunities for both aspiring entrepreneurs and established professionals to deepen their knowledge base and skill sets while interacting with a diverse set of like-minded people.

CoWorks is located at 1000 5th Avenue Huntington, inside the Chase Bank Building. Space is available for individuals wanting to utilize the center's flex desk space, dedicated desks, and private offices. Pricing options and membership rates can be found here.

HADCO joins "Open to All" Campaign. HADCO has taken the pledge to ensure that our organization adheres to the principals of openness and inclusiveness as outlined in the program undertaken by the City of Huntington. Marshall University university announced the creation of the Brad D. Smith Business Incubator, a partnership between Marshall's Brad D. Smith Schools of Business and Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI). Named for Brad Smith, a Marshall alumnus and benefactor who serves as executive board chairman of Intuit and chairman of Nordstrom, the goal of the incubator is to offer mentorship and support to early-stage startups. Entrepreneurs will be able to apply for a space in the business incubator to help them cultivate new ideas aimed at growing the local and regional economy. Read the full article here.

HADCO hosted West Virginia Secretary of Commerce Ed Gaunch and Mike Graney, executive director of the State Development Office earlier this month to showcase the HADCO Business Park in LeSage including our 100,000 SQ FT industrial building and 55-acre greenfield site which we extended utilities to in the summer of 2018.
