Night of Ideas: Facing the Present
Join artists, philosophers, and scientists for a night of thinking through the urgencies of our time.  Night of Ideas is a French-initiated global, all-night event happening simultaneously in more than 50 cities.

Just one of the many features of the night will be a performance of Territorial Tales, a devised piece of theatre. The project, initiated by Autumn Smith and Canadian Stage, is a creative launching pad for young storytellers (ages 14-21) to share their experiences of displacement, migration and settlement. With experiences spanning across the globe, a group of diverse young writers from the GTA are given the opportunity to turn their personal stories into short theatrical works under the mentorship of Canadian Stage. Hart House Theatre is pleased to partner with this project to bring them to Night of Ideas to share their work.

When: Sat., Feb. 2, 2019 | 8 pm-2 am
Where: Hart House, various rooms and locations within
Cost: Free admission, all ages event
