♦           In compliance with Diocesan guidelines, the Nursery cannot accept any children who are experiencing signs of cold and flu, including but not limited to, runny noses, cough, or fever.
 
♦           The Nursery is looking to hire one person. Please see Angeli Chin, or call the office.
  ♦           YOSH BE Lenten Series. Sundays, from March 1 – April 5 YOSH Bible will meet at  9:30am  – 10:30am joining their families at the Peace for Communion. From 9:30-9:45 will be opening prayers with Children’s Church children starting both classes promptly at 9:45am.  Please join us in Lenten Lessons and Discipline (to get up a little earlier).  PARENTS and FAMILIES, there will be coffee and treats set out in Room 1 of the Ed Wing every Sunday during Lent for you to have a short fellowship time before church starts – great time to get to know each other.
 
♦          Laces of Love sneaker drive is ongoing.. We will collect sneakers for needy boys and girls, sizes 1-9 every Sunday through the end of March. Founder Jeanne Nealon will speak at the 10:00 AM service on March 8, 2020. Collection boxes are in the narthex and Browning Hall.Thank you for your generosity.
 
♦          ECW Meeting on Monday March 9 at 10:00 AM in Parish Hall
 
♦              The Tuesday Morning Bible Study Class is now studying the GOSPEL OF JOHN. Newcomers are always welcome. The class meets every Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the first room of the Education Wing. They are using John MacArthur’s JOHN, and also viewing a DVD on the subject. Members take turns leading the week’s discussion. This particular study will go through May 12. For more information, please call Mary Richardson at 239-281-2049 or e-mail her at mcrichardson@comcast.net .

♦   Lent 2020 will begin on Ash Wednesday, February 26th and end on Maundy Thursday, April 9.   
The schedule for Lent includes two extra times of personal piety during the five weeks : Wed@6pm, starting March 4, will include a soup, salad and bread meal prepared by the participants, (sign up sheet in Browning Hall) evening prayer and discussion of three books (all available for purchase on Amazon) written by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry:
“Crazy Christians”
“Following the way of Jesus”
“People of the Way”
Each week on Fri@6pm, starting February 28, the Rev. Father Eddie Gibbons and his wife Alicia will lead the Stations of the Cross in Saint Hilary’s Sanctuary, including April 10, Good Friday. Thanks be to God for this time of increasing our faith through piety.
 
♦          Gala Italian Dinner & Silent Auction to benefit our Hygiene Bag Ministry will be held on Saturday, April 4 at 6:00PM in Browning Hall. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 for children 12 and under. Ticket sales are limited to 125. We will begin ticket sales before church on March 1. 
♦          Now welcoming Silent Auction donations for our Gala Italian Evening!  Thank you for the 38 fabulous donations you gave last year. An amazing variety of quality items raised almost $4,000!   Wouldn’t it be great if we could do that again to benefit our Hygiene Bag Ministry? Some suggestions for this year : an original artwork or craft item, gift basket, gift certificates, tickets, lessons, or host a meal. We are looking for new, upscale items . If you have questions about donating an item, please contact Libby & Ross Maxwell (334-3367). The Silent Auction Donation Forms are in Browning Hall or attached to email announcements. We are taking donations from February 24 through March 27. Please give to the Maxwells after church or bring to the office with your completed form.  Thank you in advance for your donations
 
♦           The ECW (Episcopal Church Women) cordially invites ladies to attend the Spring Tea and Fashion Show to be held on Saturday, March 21 in Browning Hall. Fashions are by Christopher and Banks in South Fort Myers. Tickets are $25 per person and will be available beginning Sunday February 29 before and after every service until Sunday, March 15. The tea will be from 2:00 – 3:00 PM and the fashion show from 3:00 – 4:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you at this celebration of spring.
 
 
♦          Boy Scout Camp - We have secured a spot at Camp Rainey Mountain in Northeast Georgia. Summer Camp for new Scouts is very important for these boys. Statistics show that when a new Scout goes to Summer Camp, he will stick with the program for years to come. The cost for this year is the same as last year. $300 per Scout. If you would like to sponsor a Scout in full or even partial, please leave a check in the plate with the office. You can make your checks to BSA Troop 117. ♦    Prayer List: St. Hilary’s now has two options for the Prayer List. The existing church-wide prayer list which is read each Thursday at the Healing Service and sent out via email on Friday. For those wishing more privacy, the Daughters of the King now have a separate prayer list that will be kept private. To submit a name to the DOK list, fill out a card available in the narthex or Browning Hall, and just drop in the plate. For the church-wide prayer list, just contact the office.

♦  St. Hilary’s Stephen Ministry has twenty-two trained Ministers who are here for you to pray, discuss needs, walk with, hug, and get closer to God. If we can be of help to you, please call the office or Ministry Leaders. Nick and Penny Ranson or Martie and Ron Danielson. All is confidential.
 
♦   Stephen Ministry Listeners : one of twenty-two trained ministers will be at the front of the Church following each service by the Saint Hilary Banner. Pray, talk, hug, help, all if you need a prayer or long term assistance. All is confidential.
 
♦  Coffee Hour Hosts Needed: For the coffee hour following the 10:00 AM service. One time commitment only. Sign up sheet in Browning Hall, or contact the office.
