A CALENDAR OVERVIEW of L'Dor Va-Dor Happenings | |
TODAY! JOIN WITH US FOR THIS ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON ... ALL ARE WELCOME!
-
Sunday, SEPTEMBER 17, 3:30 pm ET - In-person: TASHLICH ceremony at the water by the Hive Waterfront Restaurant, 2412 Floral Road, Lake Worth, FL 33462. Celebrate the new year with this ancient custom and have fun with us! During a Tashlich ceremony, Jews symbolically cast off the sins of the previous year by tossing bread crumbs into flowing water. We contemplate things done wrong in the past year and then “throw them away,” promising for improvement in this new Jewish Year 5784. All are welcome to join us for this ceremony, where we will lighten it up with a touch of humor and song, making it enjoyable and special! We will meet outside of the restaurant on the east side by the water. Please bring bread or crackers of any type (the more unique the better!) to "cast away into the water".
-
The Hive Restaurant is located on the north side of Hypoluxo Road, between Congress and I-95 and is accessed by turning north at Eastview Drive (just west of restaurant) and right turn onto Floral Road. Please CLICK HERE for more details.
-
DINNER WITH FRIENDS following: We MAY still be able to accommodate a few more people for DINNER at the Hive Restaurant. Please let us know if you are interested in also joining us for dinner following the Tashlich ceremony at 4:00 pm ET, by calling 561-968-0688.
