Dr. Apostle Regina Martin Archat is a native of South Florida, she is a wife, mother, serial entrepreneur, Global speaker, the Senior Pastor of the Embassy Church of South Florida, founder of The Embassy Academy K-12 private school, Forerunners Consulting Firm and Forerunners Magazine. Dr. Martin Archat is also the City Commissioner of North Lauderdale District C, she made history as the first African American Caribbean Woman to win this seat which was occupied by her incumbent for the past 28 years.

This week’s Expert is Dr. Gillian Gordon Perue
STROKE NEUROLOGIST AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI
MILLER SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Dr Gordon Perue began her medical career by completing her Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery (MB; BS) at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica with honours. Her doctorate (DM) in internal medicine followed. During her doctorate, she found her passion for neurology. She then pursued her Neurology Residency at UM-JMH, participating in the UM clinician research track. Dr. Gordon Perue founded UM Neurology annual resident research day and was winner of the first prize. She gives back annually to the Gordon Perue Resident Research Day award. During her Stroke Fellowship at the University of Miami, she was awarded a telestroke research grant.
