YOUR DONATIONS HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ALS

Warm Wishes for a Healthy and Happy New Year!

Dear Angel Fund Family,

As we reflect on the past year, we are again reminded of how very fortunate we are to have incredible supporters who continue to fight with us against ALS. During this season of giving, we have renewed hope and strength to carry forward our mission of finding a treatment and cure.

And as we celebrate and acknowledge all of the good that has been done and the blessings that we have, our fight to find the cure for ALS must - and will - continue. We fight every day for those who cannot fight for themselves.

We have accomplished a great deal together, and it is with your support that we have raised millions of dollars for ALS research while simultaneously raising awareness and lifting the level of consciousness for thousands of people. Because of our joint efforts, The Angel Fund family is stronger in the fight to find a way to treat and end this insidious disease. Dr. Robert H. Brown and his research team at UMass Chan Medical School work tirelessly to find both a treatment and cure, and there has never been such promising research as that which is happening right now in the lab.

The Angel Fund is committed to helping fund the ALS research of Dr. Brown and his team. It is with your support that we have been able to donate $750,000 to ALS research at UMass Chan Medical School in 2024.

We are proud to say that of funds expended, The Angel Fund averages 92% to research. These funds are discretionary, which means that the research team doesn’t have to go through a grant process to get funding for this promising research.

The members of The Angel Fund family have been warriors in the fight against ALS for more than 25 years, and because of our family, we’ve made a difference. As a family, we have a common thread that weaves us together beyond our commitment to fighting ALS.

Our mission continues......and will continue until a treatment and cure is found.

Thank you for your continued support and for stepping up to cure ALS.

I want to Step Up to Cure ALS

Looking back at 2024

Thank you to those who have hosted, participated, sponsored, and donated to our events in 2024.

Annual Gala -

Angel Awards

The Angel Fund Gala was a night to come together to say thank you to those who have made a difference in the fight against ALS. The Gala was held this year at UMass Chan Medical School.

The evening began with a tour of the new NERB research building. Dr. Robert Brown and the amazing team of researchers hosted the Gala attendees for a tour of the labs.

Three Angel Awards were given to deserving supporters for their contributions: Dr. Anastasia Khvorova, Mike and Karen Keane, and Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of The Angel Fund's $750,000 donation to UMass Chan Medical School. This donation was possible because of the generous donations of our supporters.
