Celebrating Rev. George Terian’s 85th Birthday

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, our church joyfully celebrated the 85th birthday of Rev. George Terian. It was a special blessing to have his brother, Dr. Abraham Terian and family to join us for the occasion and serve as the guest speaker during the Worship Service. We are grateful for Rev. Terian’s faithful ministry and for the meaningful message shared in honor of this milestone. May God continue to grant him strength, joy, and many more years of service.

Thanking Alice Terian for Her Faithful Service

On the same day, the congregation offered a heartfelt thank you to Alice Terian in recognition of her dedicated service to the church. Her commitment, warmth, and leadership have been a blessing to our church family and community. We are deeply grateful for all she has contributed and continue to hold her in our prayers with gratitude.

Iglesia Evangélica Congregacional Armenia “Santísima Trinidad”

Buenos Aires, Argentina

During the month of December 2025, our church, the Evangelical Congregational Armenian Church “Holy Trinity” from Buenos Aires, Argentina, celebrated its 96th Anniversary.

On December 14th, during our regular Sunday Service we had the Celebration of this special day. We had a special time to praise the Lord, to thank Him for His Mercy and Faithfulness during these 96 years and looking to His Eternal Love for us in every step.

We enjoyed the visit of Pastor Rev. Hendrik Shanazarian, Minister to the Union, from AEUNA. He shared The Lord´s Word, and the challenge to continue obeying His Will, servicing in His Acts.

On December 21st, during our Sunday Service, we celebrated Christmas, we had time to sing to the Lord, we praised His Name, we prayed giving thanks to Him.

Then, with the slogan of “What represents Jesus in your life?” we had the opportunity to listen to different testimonies from the congregation about Jesus Christ acting in each heart. And we received the Message of the Holy Bible, with the invitation to decide “who is Jesus to me?”.

After that, we enjoyed a song sung by the children of the church, and then we finished the Service singing together “Silent night”.

Finally, we enjoyed a social time, with the communion our Lord gives us, showing His Love in action in our lives, and for the people around us.

We want to thank the Lord for this special time in His Presence and with the people of God.

We want to thank God for all these years, hoping to continue serving Him, here in Buenos Aires, serving Armenian community, and wherever He sends us.

Armenian Martyrs' Congregational Church

Havertown, PA

During special lessons during Advent at Armenian Martyrs', we prepared to give others the gift of listening well. Each week, we focused on putting on our hearing AIDS by learning how to be Available in listening, how to be Interested in what our conversation partner is saying, how to Decide before entering into the conversation to be available and to be interested, and how to Stay with the topic of our conversation partner. As we become better listeners to each other, we also want to grow in listening well to our Heavenly Father.

We are incorporating special music into our worship services in the Advent and Christmas season, drawing weekly inspiration from J.S. Bach's cantata, Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland (Now Come, Savior of the Nations). A line from that cantata gave us our theme – All the World Marvels – for our Christmas Eve service (pictures below).

REMAIN

REMAIN is a ministry founded by Rev. Aren & Trina Bahadourian. Their aim is to come alongside those in suffering to encourage them to Remain in Christ with resilience. They are serving to help people remain in Christ by growing in their faith, by grieving with hope and by going with love.

“We've addressed various areas and seasons including marriage, sickness, grief as well as ministry. We want to encourage and equip leaders as they and before they face hard seasons of ministry. To continue walking with Christ without drifting to exhaustion, burn out and bitterness on the one hand and hypocrisy or immorality on the other.”

OVERFLOW 1.0

In the Fall of 2023, Rev. Aren was convicted to write a ministry training curriculum. He called it Overflow - so that leaders would serve out of an overflow of their walk with Christ. Check out the purpose statement (see attachment). They had about 8-9 participate in the 9-month small group in 2024, over 10 participated this year. He is getting ready to launch a third group in January with 12 guys from 6 different churches.

OVERFLOW 2.0

About 6 months ago, God put it on his heart to consider writing a curriculum all about Scripture. Since then, he’s been working on four sections: the doctrine of Scripture, the story of Scripture, how to study Scripture and how to teach Scripture. Instead of monthly gatherings, he is aiming for 6 half day seminars (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov) to share, study and discuss these topics.

The first seminar will be Saturday January 17. Location TBD - depending on how many sign up.

This is open to our local churches - young adults, men and women who are serving in kids ministry, discipling teens, counseling at camp, or serving in some other way in the local church.

Cost is $50 per person (includes light breakfast, handout/resources, 3-4 hour seminar).
