Hello Everyone!
What a beautiful time of year when the work and "busy-ness" of summer slows down into the cozy late fall/early winter months. For me, I enjoy drinking a cup of coffee and watching the birds on my feeder inside the warmth of my home. As I read God's Word, He reminds me that just as He uses me to provide for the birds that visit our yard, He continues to provide for our needs.
He loves us. He sees EVERYTHING that brings stress into our lives. He wants us to remember to stay focused on what He has called us to do - rather than shrink back and allow Satan to tempt us to give up and hide from the things that make us worry. This is no time for fear! Our LORD Jesus wants us to fix our eyes on Him (Hebrews 12:1-2). And never forget that He blesses others through our generosity - not only in our financial gifts to make ministry happen, but also in the time we give to GO and SERVE on the mission field of Alaska.
"I’ve left you an example of how you should serve and take care of those who are weak. For we must always cherish the words of our Lord Jesus, who taught, ‘Giving brings a far greater blessing than receiving.’”
