Interfaith Prayer

Sometimes our wholeness eludes us
Be with me Dear Heart
So I may taste the nectar of the ages.

Seeking help for family from Congo and young man from Venezuela
Community Action Council is trying to help an undocumented family of five from the Congo obtain housing. Two of the children were born in the U.S., but other family members need help getting proper documentation. Without documentation, they can't get housing. The family doesn't speak any English (they speak French), so someone to translate would also be a blessing. If you can help with either need, please contact Kirsten at CAC, / 240-397-3936. Also, a young man from Venezuela who speaks little English is eagerly seeking employment. He has a Venezuelan ID, but not a U.S. social security equivalent. If you can help with even temporary job(s) or with applying for this number, please contact Kathy at 301-842-4272 or
