Faith Leaders to sign Amicus Brief in support of MD Warrantless Arrest Lawsuit

Amica Center is preparing to file a lawsuit in U.S. District Court challenging ICE’s unlawful arrests without warrants in the state of Maryland. The lawsuit is modeled after their successful warrantless arrest lawsuit in DC, which they filed with a number of partner organizations. As they did in the DC warrantless arrest case, they are seeking to file several amicus briefs in the Maryland warrantless arrest case, including one signed by members of Maryland’s faith community.

Samson Society

Thursdays | 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Christ Community Church

300 S. Artizan Street, Williamsport, MD

Samson Society is a brotherhood of men seeking authentic connection, spiritual growth, and freedom through honesty, humility, and shared struggle. Authentic Community. Serious, Not Grave. It’s not a church group, not a self-help program, and definitely not a place where we pretend to have it all together. It’s a fellowship of men—real men—who are choosing honesty over hiding, connection over isolation, and grace over guilt. Here, you don’t have to fake it. You don’t have to perform. You just have to show up. Whether you’re struggling with pornography, unwanted compulsive sexual behaviors, feeling stuck in life, or just searching for real friendship, there’s a place for you here. No man should have to walk alone. Contact Mike Gregory at Bargebrothers300@gmail.com. Website.
