HARC Hosts BOE Candidate Forum


On Thursday, May 7, HARC and the League of Women Voters hosted a candidate forum for the Washington County Board of Education primary election. All candidates were invited and five participated. This well-attended event was a great way for the public to get to know the candidates before going to the polls. If you missed it, check out the recording.

HARC Meeting: Habitat for Humanity

This month, we’ll get an update from Habitat for Humanity of Washington County. Come learn about current programs, how homeownership works, and ways the faith community can be involved. Join us for lunch and fellowship along with the presentation. Thank you to Reach for hosting and providing food (a free will offering basket will be out for donations toward the meal/Reach). RSVP requested by Friday, May 15 at noon so we can get a count for lunch and other activities. Bring your empty ink cartridges to drop off and we'll recycle them to raise funds!

Stories In The Round - Megan Wells + Book Sale

Season 10 of Stories in the Round opens with a screening of Megan Well's stunning historical portrayal of Elizabeth Hamilton, widow of Alexander Hamilton, as she appeared some years after his death at the hands of Aaron Burr. Recorded live at the International Storytelling Center in Joneborough, TN in August, 2025. $20 Admission. Children 12 & older welcome when accompanied by a parent or group leader. Venerable Temm Bikle, Buddhist Monk, is hosting the 3rd annual Japanese Noodle Slide in memory of Thích Quảng Đức. It’s a unique and fun experience where you can catch noodles with chopsticks as they slide down a chute into your broth-filled bowl for noodle soup! Note, this is an indoor event.
