On Friday, November 4, 2022, the HART Board of Directors received a report at a Special Board of Directors Meeting, which included a Project Oversight Committee and Human Resources Committee Meeting. Agenda items discussed:

HART and Shimmick/Traylor/Granite Joint-Venture (STG) would like to inform motorists of ongoing traffic pattern changes on Waiwai Loop near the Āhua (Lagoon Drive) Station.

The makai end of Waiwai Loop has been reconfigured into a one-way street operating only in the westbound direction between Lagoon Drive and the STG construction yard. This travel lane reconfiguration is expected to continue through the end of November 2022. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the mauka end of Waiwai Loop.

Motorists must enter Waiwai Loop from the mauka end near Koapaka Street. All businesses and driveways on Waiwai Loop will remain accessible. Please be aware that pedestrian detours may be necessary near designated work areas.
