Weekly eBlast
July 25, 2022
The Hālawa (Aloha Stadium) Station is named after the Hālawa ahupuaʻa where you will find the wahi pana, Kapuʻukapu (the forbidden hill), which by name implies that the area once held religious and ceremonial significance.

This is the ninth station on the alignment and the final station of the first operating segment. Located at the Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard intersection, the Hālawa Station will service passengers traveling to and from the Salt Lake and Hālawa communities. Nearby landmarks include the Aloha Stadium, Pearl Harbor National Memorial, and Stadium Mall.

Located adjacent to the station will be a bus transit center for passengers to seamlessly transfer between the rail and bus. Also located adjacent to the station is a 600 stall park-and-ride facility for passengers to conveniently park their vehicles.
