The Hōʻaeʻae (West Loch) Station, named after the ahupuaʻa between Honouliuli and Waikele, is located in Waipahu along Farrington Highway near the Leoku Street intersection. This is the fourth station along the alignment and will service passengers traveling to and from the Waipahu area. Nearby landmarks and destinations include Waipahu Town Center, Don Quiote Waipahu, Aloha Kia Leeward, and Cutter Buick GMC.

Two station entrances are conveniently located on the mauka and makai sides of Farrington Highway along with an elevated pedestrian bridge for safe passenger access. The boarding platform can be accessed by way of the stairs, elevator, or escalator. A kiss-and-ride parking lot for drop-offs will be located just outside the makai station entrance as well as a bus transit center. The Hōʻaeʻae (West Loch) Station and the next stop heading east, Pouhala (Waipahu Transit Center) Station, will be the main transit hubs for the Waipahu community.

AIRPORT GUIDEWAY AND STATIONS
Business and Community Meeting 
The community is invited to attend a virtual Business and Community meeting for the Airport Guideway and Stations contract segment on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 1pm to 1:45 pm.

This meeting will be held online via Zoom and requires interested participants to pre-register at:

Monday Traffic Update
All eastbound lanes of Nimitz Highway between Ke’ehi Lagoon Memorial Park and Kahauiki Village will be closed overnight between the hours of 9 pm and 4 am on the following dates:

Motorists on eastbound Nimitz Highway will be detoured to onto Exit 18B towards eastbound Kamehameha Highway/Dillingham Boulevard.

Pedestrian and vehicle access to Ke’ehi Lagoon Memorial Park and Kahauiki Village will be maintained. Mahalo for your continued patience and understanding!
