Teenagers in Grades 8-12 are invited to participate in a multi-faceted ministry at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. You're encouraged to join Youth Director Rick Belbutoski and other adult leaders for a variety of ministries, events, and ways to serve your neighbor in the name of Jesus Christ.
Hello Hennepin Youth and Families,

It has been a painful week for many in the Twin Cities. George Floyd's murder comes as a shock to many and is painful reminder of a reality known too well by many others. News reports about police, protesters, and looters have made the story unavoidable, which is why our youth group time this Sunday will be a time for youth to speak freely about how they've been impacted by this week. We will show empathy and love to one another as we continue to process the heart-breaking realities that are playing out in our city.

I am in the process of vetting resources that may help you and your family to have helpful and healthy conversations with your family. I will make these resources available in the next several days.

Please know, that I am available to talk with anyone who is struggling or simply wants someone to listen to talk about what's going on in our city. I can be reached at (317) 517-5968.

Thank you!

It is clear summer for youth is going to be very different than we'd hoped a couple months ago. I'm committed to offering programming that is safe and supportive of the Hennepin Youth, and I'd like your help to figure out what that will look like. I recognize that every family will have different feelings about what's best for your youth, and I completely respect that. If you would help me support our youth by completing the survey monkey below, I would greatly appreciate it. It won't take anymore than five minutes.
