WHAT'S HAPPENING
Like many of you, we are closely following the news around COVID-19 worldwide, and the outbreak of the virus throughout New Hampshire. We are taking extra precautions to ensure that we continue uninterrupted support services for survivors. For many survivors COVID-19 can negatively impact survivors and create circumstances where there safety is further comprised during a time of quarantining.
Abuse is about power and control. When survivors are forced to stay in the home or in close proximity to their abuser more frequently, an abuser can use any tool to exert control over their victim, including a national health concern such as COVID-19. In a time where companies may be encouraging that their employees work remotely, and the CDC is encouraging “social distancing,” an abuser may take advantage of an already stressful situation to gain more control.
HAVEN is committed to being available 24/7 through COVID-19 through our hotline at 1-603-994-SAFE (7233).
With all the information available to us we are saddened to share that we will be cancelling our two Kids Are Our Business Breakfasts. The health and safety of our community and supporters comes first.

Your support is more critical than ever now. Kids Are Our Business Breakfasts and many other community fundraisers have been cancelled. Donations of any amount are necessary as we continue our vision of Ending Violence and Changing Lives.
