Your future awaits you at the 2018 NAHB International Builders' Show┬« (IBS) and the 2018 Scholarship Program is designed to help get you there! 

IBS provides access to everything you need to jumpstart your career goals in 2018. Whether you're in new home construction, sales, design or remodeling, you'll be able to explore miles and miles of exhibits displaying the latest products, as well as gain insights into the industry's hottest trends and techniques. You'll also make numerous connections and have tons of fun too!
Selected recipients will receive:
  • One IBS 2018 full registration (includes education)

How are these two awards programs different? The STARS Awards recognizes builders, associates, media and advertising professionals, and HBAs from across North Carolina that are at the top of their game. The Galaxy Awards honors the top new home builders and sales professionals in the state.

Businesses sought for youth internship program

Businesses are being sought for a summer program that will offer internships to young people in science, technology, engineering and math fields.

The Summer Youth Internship program, co-sponsored by the city of Fayetteville, the Public Works Commission, Cumberland County Schools and the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, will offer jobs to 30 youths from June 19 through July 29.

The 32-hour a week jobs pay $8 an hour. The application period for interns has closed.
