2016 HBAG Fall Board Meeting
The 2016 HBAG Fall Meeting, held at the Westin Jekyll Island, was well-attended and said by many to be the best meeting in several years. Thank you to all who were there and helped make the event a huge success!
Several members from throughout the state were able to come to Jekyll Island on Tuesday and participate in the B-PAC golf tournament at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. It was a beautiful day to raise money on the golf course for B-PAC.
Carol Morgan with mRelevance kicked things off on Wednesday with a very informative marketing seminar. Throughout the rest of the day, members attended important committee meetings and a luncheon featuring Ed Brady, NAHB's 2016 Chairman of the Board. Also getting high praise from meeting attendees was Amy Eakin and her presentation on useful, time-saving apps. Patty Rietkovich, EO for the HBA of Greater Savannah, got members excited and pumped up for the 2017 HBAG Membership Drive at her membership seminar, "Be Prepared".
Georgia Power Company sponsored a special Welcome Reception & Awards Banquet on Wednesday evening. HBAG Executive Vice President Kelly Lass was recognized at the reception for 30 years of dedication and service to HBAG.
The 2016/2017 HBAG Senior Officers were installed into office and awards were distributed at a special dinner on Thursday evening. After dinner, a fun evening of dancing and entertainment was had by all. The party band, Flashback, kept everyone dancing and enjoying themselves well into the evening.
After a terrific 2016 Fall Meeting, HBAG members are eagerly awaiting the 2017 Spring Meeting, taking place May 4-6 in conjunction with the East Coast Builders Show at the Cobb Galleria.
