HC Alumni News - Scholarship/Giving
Greetings to you all while we practice social distancing! During this season of change and adaptation due to the COVID-19 virus, we want to thank our wonderful alumni community and families for your support as we navigate and change how we engage with you. While we haven’t been able to meet in person, we have had some amazing opportunities to connect in new ways and welcome any ideas!

Great Gala News! We were able to pivot our annual in-person gala to a completely virtual gala in under two weeks! In our 5-day event, we had lots of screen time and even some cameos from people you know – Andrew Lazo, John Lister and Dr. Livingston!  If you missed it, you can still check out our gala activities on Facebook – Houston Christian Auction

We had over 230 gala registrants and raised over $225,000 to support HC! We received $50,000 in funding for indexed tuition, our school's newest addition that allows us to assist more families and students to attend our school. Support Indexed Tuition here . Several alumni joined us online during the gala and supported Give from the Heart for Indexed Tuition!  Thank you! That is always a winning bid and is an immediate investment in education!

You will notice that we are also transitioning other events to virtual experiences. Please join us in celebrating our Class of 2020 DSP scholars as they present their research presentations. Their topics are extremely interesting and varied. Also, you can join us online for our virtual brick reveal later this spring along with the awards ceremonies! Graduation is, of course, the most important event of the year and we hope to report what the plan will be soon. Please keep an eye on our social media to see what the schedule will be!

As always we hope you are all safe and healthy. We hope that you are finding time to enjoy the blessing of social distancing and new ways to connect with your loved ones!  Please send us any stories that you may have of your time at home!
