Celebrating God's Call in Jason's Life

ORDINATION WITHIN THE EVANGELICAL COVENANT CHURCH

Last Saturday, Jason Heppner was ordained for Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Covenant Church, our denominational tribe. Ordination recognizes an individual's calling to leadership, setting them apart of sacred work. Jason, after years of preparation, Covenant experiences, interviews, and written theological statements is now affirmed and accountable in pastoral ministry. We will celebrate his ordination on Sunday, August 23 at both services. Until then, pray for his continued ministry among us and let him know you are excited with him.

Jessica Fick, a former Hillcrest pastor, was also ordained and is pictured above.

Office Closure Update

The Hillcrest offices will be closed Monday, July 6 in observance of Independence Day. Happy July 4th!
