Dear Harvest Christian Academy and Westminster Christian School Families,

As we continue moving forward in this exciting season of growth and transition, I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce two new team members who will play important roles in shaping the future of our school. Their experience, leadership, and heart for Christian education will be invaluable as we work together to build a strong foundation for our new school community.

I am pleased to introduce Kelly Waltmire, who will serve as Project Manager during our transition as HCA and WCS join together to form a new independent Christian school. With an MBA in Business and extensive experience in project management, contract administration, and organizational leadership, Kelly has a proven ability to bring teams together around a common mission and see complex initiatives through to successful completion.

She has served in various roles across ministry, education, and corporate settings, including her most recent position as a Senior Administrative Assistant, where she managed operations, communications, and complex workflows with professionalism and care. Known for her organization, clear communication, and collaborative spirit, Kelly will support the Head of School in launching and guiding transition teams.

In addition to her professional experience, Kelly is also deeply invested in the school community as a parent of two children who attend HCA. She is excited to contribute not only as a leader but also as a parent who shares in the vision of building a strong and thriving new school for our students. I am grateful for her skills and collaboration during this season of growth, and I look forward to the important role she will play in helping to lay the foundation for our new school community.

I am also excited to welcome Mark Johnson as our new Director of Finance! With more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit finance and leadership, Mark has a strong track record of guiding organizations with wisdom, care, and integrity. Most recently, he served as Treasurer & Controller for a non-profit ministry, where he oversaw finance, legal, and IT operations. He helped launch a national retirement plan for over 1,000 churches and supported teams through times of transition with steadiness and vision.

What stands out most about Mark is not only his financial expertise but also a deep passion for service and collaboration. He loves making complex systems easier, supporting others to do their best work, and ensuring that resources are stewarded wisely so the mission can thrive.

We look forward to the energy, heart, and experience Mark brings to our school community and are thrilled to have him join us in supporting our students, families, and staff.

Please join me in welcoming Kelly and Mark to our team. I am confident that their gifts and dedication will be a blessing to our students, families, and staff as we step into this next chapter together. Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we move forward in faith and unity and be sure to continue to check the Partnership FAQs for updates.

With gratitude,

Carlye Hay
