RegLantern Quarterly Training: Leading Through Uncertainty

This presentation is aimed at leaders in community health centers who are struggling to decide what to do in response to federal executive orders and potential changes to funding models such as federal grant funding, 340B regulations, and Medicaid.


Objectives:

1) Encourage leaders to remain faithful to the mission, vision and values of their organization as a guide to addressing uncertain directives from outside agencies and government directives.

2) Share strategies to engage and inform your board about current and changing events.

3) Reestablish the motivation for compliance efforts throughout the organization.

Intimate Partner Violence Resource


According to National Statistics, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men have experienced domestic violence, and in Nebraska, 33.7% of women and 28% of men in this state have experienced domestic violence.


On a daily average, more than 200,000 calls are made to domestic hotlines nationwide. Recently, HCAN staff developed an Intimate Partner Violence information booklet and scripting resources to use at your health center. These resources provide key information for identifying, screening, and supporting patients experiencing IPV.

$10,000 Mini-Grant for Implementation of Building Peer and Leadership Support in Rural Settings


American Nurses Foundation (ANF) has up to five $10,000 mini-grants available.


Responses due May 20, 2025


ANF welcomes proposals from nurse-led teams interested in bringing its Nurse Well-Being: Building Peer and Leadership Support program to life at their organizations—especially in rural and long-term care settings. Through mini-grants, selected organizations will receive funding to plan and launch their own program using ANF’s online modules and resources.

NNOHA Conference Scholarship for Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants


NNOHA is once again pleased to offer its Annual Conference Scholarship for Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants! The scholarship will cover 100% of base registration costs to the NNOHA Conference in San Antonio, TX. Two total scholarships will be awarded: one for a dental hygienist and one for a dental assistant. To be eligible, the RDH/DA must work in an FQHC or look-alike. They must be a NNOHA member at the time of their application. More details and eligibility criteria are included in the application.
