Lemonade Day
April 25, 2018
Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand.

Each year, in participating cities, youth have the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business during their city's community-wide Lemonade Day.

Our HCC Center for Entrepreneurship Southeast supported Mading Elementary School in Third Ward, to teach students from Pre-K to 5th grade the importance about managing money, how to make and sell lemonade, all while having fun!

The City of Houston will host Lemonade Day across the city, this Sunday May 6th. Support and help these young entrepreneurs in the making, by visiting their stands this weekend. Check here for available locations in your area.

8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Check-in: 8:30 am
Welding is the most common way of permanently joining metal parts. In this process, heat is applied to metal pieces, melting and fusing them to form a permanent bond. Because of its strength, welding is used in shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing and repair, aerospace applications, and thousands of other manufacturing activities. Welding also is used to join beams in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures and to join pipes in pipelines, power plants, and refineries.
HIRE AN HCC STUDENT
Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
