outstanding programs and partnership

Hear from Mattress Mack himself, his son, our partners from WorkTexas and others who are a part of this collective effort to empower Houstonians seeking better jobs and more fulfilling careers.

Mack's programs empower people to love their work and find work they love. As Mack puts it, "Work is life’s greatest therapy, work gives meaning to our life, we are all responsible for our destiny."

Just a few more quotes from Jim:

"If it is to be, it is up to me. That's called the great American virtue of self-reliance"....

"Get up, go to work and make something of your life!"......

"Chaos is huge opportunity".....

"Stay relevant and be active in your community"...

"We're all selling whether you are a teacher, lawyer, preacher, policeman....selling our ideas, learning to compromise and come up with solutions to problems."......

"Practice pitching your ideas"....

The HCC Mattress Mack School of Selling© sessions are based on the Mattress Mack philosophy of sales practices. Jim McIngvale's philosophy for career success and community empowerment is modelled throughout the entire program. The energy onsite at Gallery Furniture in the WorkTexas training center is uplifting, motivating, and inspiring!
