Fall/Winter Office Hours Return

Beginning September 3rd, regular office hours will resume. The office will be open Mondays,

Wednesdays and Thursdays

from 9am to 3pm.

A Note from Stepping Stones School

Stepping Stones School will open in early September for its 56th continuous year. Our teachers are excited to greet our 56 students ages 3 to 6 years old during open houses during the week of Sept.1st. Regular classes will start on Sept. 8. We also welcome two new staff members Devaney Sloan and Brooke Lemoine this year. Colleen Bayak (teaching director), Madigan Edwards, Torri Kelley, Breanna Tosi, Glenda Maglio, Becki Brodeur, Jennifer Wilson complete our staff.  

You may have noticed the back hallway was painted a couple of weeks ago completely funded by SSS. Carpets and floors will be washed, outdoor entryways rid of spider webs and bugs, playground sand freshened up, classrooms will be buzzing with teachers preparing for the upcoming school year in the next couple of weeks.

With school starting please be aware of little ones entering and leaving the building during the week. 

Stepping Stones School has been a part of the Hampstead Congregational Church since 1970. We provide a valuable resource to the community with our excellent early childhood education starting with preschool through kindergarten. We are not funded by church donations other than providing the space for the programs, but through tuitions from our students. Last year we were able to give back $20,000.00 to the church to use for general repairs, utility costs etc. We appreciate the hard work members of the Operations committee give us in maintaining the facility.

New Book Discussion Group Begins Thursday Sept. 4th

Book Group is back for the fall! 

Beginning Thursday, September 4, our Book Group will be gathering again each week to discuss videos, articles, and books. We meet at 10 am with coffee and tea and discussion. 

We will kick off September 4 by catching up after our summer apart, making a final decision on our fall book, and discussing the “Living the Questions” video on Prayer (which we will watch together.) 

All are welcome to join as they are able.

This month we return to recognizing the teams of the church, and so we would like to recognize Linda Tilden who currently is the sole member of Discipleship. The Discipleship Team is responsible for the church’s book study, coordinating the Easter

Egg hunt and the teaching of Sunday School.

Additionally, she ensures that nursery care is adequately staffed, even taking care of the little ones when needed. And we always see her on Sundays, sitting in the corner, supervising the Prayerground. Many thanks to Linda (a.k.a. Mom) for all of her hard work!

Saint Anne's Food Pantry

They have updated their needs list: Ensure, Coffee/Tea, Tuna Fish, Mayo, Jelly/Jam, Hamburger Helper, Protein Soups, Saltines/Ritz/Triscuits, Rice Pilaf, Spices, Salad Dressing, English Muffins, Brownie/Muffin/Cake Mixes, Nutrigrain Bars, Maple Syrup, Canned Chef Boyardee Items, Spam, Lunchbox Snacks.

in addition to listing items here.

Please no expired items. Non-perishable items only.
