Affordability. Gary Rano of In Depth New Hampshire poses the queation,” What makes one thing affordable and something else unaffordable?” Affordability is subjective.

He goes through some examples to explain this. A new car is unaffordable until your car has a major mechanical failure. A cell phone is unaffordable until the cellular carrier provides a way to pay for it as part of your service plan. And electricity is a necessity for which there is no postponing or paying in installments. This point led to the real meat of the article about the state of generation of electricity in New Hampshire.
