HCC Opts to Impact Work-based Relationships with 
Business-Social Intelligence
When it comes to how we conduct business, we all have our own way of doing things. The Health Care Collaborative (HCC) of Rural Missouri is going the extra mile to examine and analyze how its staff, board of directors and key vendors are bent when it comes to operational value systems, propensities and intrinsic work-style habits. The goal is to understand each person's inherent style and work to cater to these varying degrees of business-social behaviors to build leaders and strengthen relationships.

Using a tool called ntrinsx┬«, HCC stakeholders are tested to see what values underscore their personality and character. The assessment takes about five to 10 minutes. The outcome of the assessment is eerily accurate. Key findings of one survey stated that 75.5 percent of respondents were not surprised at the "style" assigned to them by the assessment - meaning they agreed with it. Read more.

It's Almost That Time Again...Check out these ACA Dates & Deadlines:

Open Enrollment for 2017 health plans starts November 1, 2016. Important dates to note:
  • November 1, 2016: Open Enrollment starts - first day you can enroll, re-enroll, or change a 2017 insurance plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Coverage can start as soon as January 1, 2017.
  • December 15, 2016: Last day to enroll in or change plans for coverage to start January 1, 2017.
  • January 1, 2017: 2017 coverage starts for those who enroll or change plans by December 15.
  • January 31, 2017: Last day to enroll in or change a 2017 health plan. After this date, you can enroll or change plans only if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
