HCI Monthly News & Updates
Message from our Board Chair

I am so excited for our Peer group meeting in less than two weeks. I am looking forward to the sensory overload of education, entertainment and fun. I can’t wait to connect with old friends and make new ones. All of this describes HCI's annual peer group!

This will be my 16th peer group conference, and I am almost as excited this year as I was for my first in Nashville, Tennessee. Each year I come home with new ideas on how to grow my club membership, prove value to my management, stream line processes and offer new, exciting and fun travel opportunities to my club members.

Since our meeting in La Vista last May, HCI and the Nebraska team has preparing a wonderful, educational and fun experience for all of us

I recently read a quote from the Dalai Lama: “In order to carry a positive action, we must develop here a positive vision.” HCI helps provide the positive visions; it is up to us to take them home each year and turn them into positive actions.

Kelly Robare is our newest HCI bank club director and is really looking forward to attending her first Peer Group conference this month. She first learned of HCI’s conference when some other club directors at another travel show talked excitedly about HCI, and she became quite interested in experiencing Peer Group for herself. In addition to having a chance to interact with other club directors, but she hopes to be able to “widen her scope” by meeting new vendors and forming new relationships in order to be able to offer fresh ideas and destinations to her members. “There is always so much to learn,” she says and is excited to be a part of the conference.

Sight & Sound brings Bible stories to life on a spectacular stage, featuring an exceptional cast, special effects, massive sets and live animals.

Each year, we welcome more than a million people from around the world who come to experience these amazing stories. With over forty years of bringing the Bible to life on stage, we’ve had quite a journey.

But how did we get here? Click to read the full story .

What began with a dairy farmer, his wife, a few slide projectors, a passion for creativity and a desire to serve God, grew into the Sight & Sound Theatres we know today—the nation’s largest organization of its kind, and one of the top three theater destinations in the country. We are humbled by this success and grateful to remain a family-owned business, led by the next generation of the Eshelman family with a passionately committed team of 600 employees.

As we look to what the future may hold, we are continuously exploring new ways to bring the Bible to life and how we might provide more opportunities for more people to experience these timeless stories.

We look forward to hosting you and your Bank Clubs as we continue to bring the Bible to life for many more years to come!

I am so blessed to be a part of Sight & Sound Theatres, and to have the opportunity to know and work with each and every one of you at Heritage Clubs International. In both organizations, I feel that I am surrounded by family. Vic and Sheila Smith (Heartland Bank, Geneva, NE) have even adopted my son David as a bonus grandchild. I mean, who can blame them? Look how cute he is! 😊
You can reach out to me at any time. (Call, email, text, mail, etc.) I am your resource for all things Sight & Sound, and I am happy to help in any way I can.
