In the past few years, one of the trendy terms in digital news media has been “pivot to video.” Well, since they can’t see their students every day at school, the folks at Norman G. Ambrosini Elementary School in Fortuna are doing just that.

LCAP Update
LCAP Update from HCOE and CDE
Last week Governor Newsom released an Executive Order which primarily focused on the expected changes to the Local Control Accountability Plan process. HCOE has created a “cliff note” version of the key changes. Our team will also be hosting an LCAP Zoom meeting on Friday, May 1 from 1-2 pm to answer any questions

Humboldt County Library Online
Are you in need of a satisfying novel, a stimulating idea, or a wiring diagram for fixing your car? Would you like to browse through a magazine that you used to read in the grocery store check-out aisle? The Humboldt County Library is expanding online access to library resources with the e-account, a new electronic account for Humboldt County residents who do not currently have a library card.

Take Your Teaching to Television!
KEET-TV (our local PBS station) and Access Humboldt are looking for educators interested in using television to reach Humboldt County students. KEET is offering half-hour timeslots for teachers to conduct on-line lessons, and Access Humboldt wants to broadcast your programming.
