Out of the Fire: Navigating Tough Conversations About Race & Class
Sept 29th, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm, Perkins Student Center, Gallery
A core concern about diversity in our institutions and its impact on culture and climate is navigating taboo topics. While religion and politics are among them, race tends to top the list or intersect with other issues.

There is a way out of the fire of navigating tough conversations or the all too familiar passive ways we avoid them. In this highly interactive session, find out best practices in communication that will unlock the secret to successfully navigating these tough topics.
