Celebrating the completion of the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Rehabilitation and Wellness Centre, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare will officially reveal the space at 10:30 a.m. this Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Located in the Tayfour Building on the HDGH campus, the space formally known as the Cardiac Wellness Centre finished its year-long renovation in October of 2015 and will continue to serve patients in need of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
"This is a significant event for Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. It supports our organization's vision for a Centre of Excellence in Restorative Rehabilitation," said Bill Marra, Vice President External Affairs, Innovation & Philanthropy.
The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program currently serves a roster of 500 patients and 25,000 patient visits per year, from ages 25 to 95
The new 1.7 million 9,800 square foot space is more than double the size of its former location and is equ
ipped with brand new technology including cardio and exercise equipment as well as a walking track.
