In HDMS v4.0, CMNs & Prescriptions will be upgraded to 2D barcodes!

As you know, barcodes are a concise way to pass information, and 2D barcodes offer far more storage in a small space than previous technology.
2D barcodes form a square, and are often referred to as a QR code.

The 4.0 version will only change CMN/Prescriptions,
not any of your inventory barcoding.

In order to be ready for this update, we recommend that you reach out to your imaging vendor like ImageSoft (OnBase), Medforce, or Intellivue.
