Bikes, Blades & Boards is a volunteer-based educational program led by dedicated committee members, community partners & volunteers. Due to increasing demand, our injury prevention program will now be offered to students within Grades 1-3 throughout the entire academic year (based on availability). We are looking forward to another successful year of educating students on the importance of helmet safety and injury prevention. Interested in getting involved? Presentation and volunteer applications are now available on our website.
HBIA has teamed up with the Ontario Brain Injury Association to bring the Peer Support Program to Hamilton. This volunteer-based program connects individuals with lived experience (the Mentor) to an individual who is living with the effects of ABI who requires the support (the Partner). This program is available to survivors, family members and unpaid caregivers
freeof charge. If you are interested in participating, referring a client to this program, or learning more about this program please contact our Peer Support Coordinator, Lindsay Bright at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our website by clicking
