Wells Fargo Awards Grant to HEART to Support Affordable Housing

Continuing its long-term support, in July Wells Fargo awarded HEART a $40,000 grant to support our affordable housing preservation program.

Thanks to Wells Fargo, we are able to continue to launch our initiative to preserve naturally occurring affordable housing for families and workers in San Mateo County.

Wells Fargo’s grant will provide crucial support for the housing preservation program. HEART is aiming to acquire its first property in the coming months.

Thank you to Wells Fargo!

Thank you, Mark!

In July, Mark Nagales, City of South San Francisco Vice Mayor, stepped down after serving over five years on HEART's Board of Directors. As a long time member of the HEART board, Mark has been a vital supporter of the organization and affordable housing.

The Board of Directors of HEART honored and commended Mark Nagales for his commitment to creating affordable housing for low-income residents in San Mateo County, for providing his distinguished expertise as a dedicated supporter of HEART, and for serving many years as an integral member of the HEART's Strategic Working Group Committee.

Serving the community since 2003, HEART of San Mateo County's mission is to create and preserve affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families.
