Participants will learn about cruise ships, how they’re built and designed, the different areas and activities, and so much more. Gymnastics Camp

Intermediate Back Handspring Camp M/W/F
This camp is designed for kids 6-12 who are able to meet the criteria for the intermediate class. During these 3 days, we will break down the skill into 3 important steps and we will also work on drills to master each step. Tumblers will be able to understand each step better, therefore, making it easier to perform. All our flexibility, strength exercises, and power drills will be focused on this one skill. Gymnasts must be signed up in the intermediate or be able to do a good handstand and bridge kick over to be able to attend this class.
Intro to Gymnastics Camp T/Th
This camp is geared towards kids 6-9 with little to no gymnastics background. We will work on 3 main skills on bars; pull over, cast, and back hip circle, we will learn a beam routine, we will learn to the vault by working on the approach and hurdle and we will focus on our 3 basic floor skills, cartwheel, handstand, and rolls. Kids in the beginner's class who were not promoted to intermediate or kids with little to no gymnastics experience will be able to enjoy this class.

A Week at the Vet Camp

Ever wanted to know what happens at the vet? We will spend our days learning the ins and outs at the vet's office. Grooming, Animal Anatomy, Diet and Nutrition, Types of Pets,

Medicines, etc.! You will also bring your own stuffed pet every day to class. There will be crafts, games too! This class is offered to a younger group and an older group with age-appropriate information.

Young Writers Workshop

Did you know that the youngest published author was four years old? According to the Guinness Book of Records, Dorothy Straight, born in 1958, wrote How the World Began in 1962. We will do an author study of Mo Willems who wrote the following book series: Knuffle Bunny; Pig and Elephant books; Pigeon books. We will look at author craft, and illustration style. We will learn about the 5 story components: characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution. We will learn about the writing process with planning, rough draft, and final draft. The end goal is to publish a class book! This will be a fun and creative class for students to tap into their inner writers and illustrators!

Model United Nations Intro Workshop

Model United Nations is an academic simulation that is based on the activities of the United Nations General Assembly. The simulation allows students to role-play as they discuss and debate significant global events and crises. MUN covers a wide variety of subjects such as speech, debate, geography, history, political science, and professional presence.

Community Outreach Summer Session Camp

Older generations have so much to teach us—if we take the time to listen. Every community has people who have lived long, full lives with valuable stories, knowledge, and skills to share. In this summer project/outreach, students will make friends with a resident of a retirement home. They will listen to the story of their new friend’s life, and craft a biography capturing the moments that made their life meaningful!
In this summer session students will work on interviewing skills, planning and drafting, writing biographies, analyzing a mentor text, research skills, creating a time line of a life, letter writing as they make pen pals with their senior friend, presenting as they will present their biographies to the senior center, and empathy for others.

Self-Care & Self-Esteem for Girls Camp

Join us for a time of learning about self-care and discussing how to have a sense of healthy self-esteem. Girls will enjoy learning about how to properly care for their skin, understanding the purpose of different facial products and how to use them. This class will also highlight face shape, brow shape, and hair styling that can enhance the beautiful features God created you with. We will also explore different body shapes and how to appropriately and modestly dress each shape in style, while also focusing on the importance of bringing attention to the face, not certain body parts. Our class will also explore basic makeup techniques that are appropriate for a teenager and enhances natural beauty and also touch on hair care--with some fun up-do options that are easy to do at home. Our class will also cover self-esteem and how God views us created in His image. Girls will be encouraged to lean into God and how He views them as His perfect creation.
