Here's looking forward to a summer of hot colours

All go here in Henley right now now: our exhibition of work by superstar Australian quilter Megan Manwaring opened on Tuesday, we have a special Super Saturday opening this weekend here in Henley, and we're only a couple of weeks away from
But first, some brilliant new fabrics to excite you...

Your perfect summer palette: Edyta Sitar's Cocoa Pink
You can always rely on designer Edyta Sitar to bring romance to your quilting, and in her new Cocoa Pink collection, for her own Laundry Basket Quilts label, she's definitely got the temperature of the season.
Large floral prints meet co-ordinating foliage, stripes and more, warming up her classic pink and cream palette, as seen in her Strawberries and Cream collection, with a shot of cocoa warmth.

Kaffe's on a roll with these colourful precut packs
Meadow, Lake – and Vineyard
Seen above are Meadow, with its rich shades and patterns of green, and Lake, which is all cool blues – just the thing to dip into on a hot summer's day!
Completing the quartet, Vineyard reflects the rich colours of the grapes at full ripeness just before la vendange, with all that promise of fabulous wine yet to come.

Piles and piles of Kaffe pre-cuts
As well as those design rolls, we have stacks of Kaffe packs, with pre-cuts in all kinds of shapes and sizes.
Enter the world of Kaffe's New Classics – and go right back to where it all began
The new design rolls are all made from the fabrics in the Kaffe Fassett Collective Classics collection, which is dedicated to maintaining the availability of some of the most famous Kaffe designs. And the collection goes right back to where it all began, with GP01, Kaffe's first fabric design – otherwise known as Roman Glass.

More Perfect Partners added: half a yard of a designer print, and half of a matching plain, to inspire your next project
The launch of our Perfect Partners collection last week seems to have captured your imagination: the idea of taking half a yard of a striking print, and matching it with a half-yard of co-ordinating blender, has inspired you to start on new projects.
So we've come up with some more pairings...
The striking pair at the top of this section combines Este Macleod's Spring Birds, taken from her Alfie collection and full of detail, with a vibrant pink blender to bring out the highlights in the print...
We're having great fun putting these bundles together – keep your eye on our Perfect Partners section for more new additions coming soon!.

Take flight with Este Macleod's Find the Birds – and Alfie!
Painter and designer Este Macleod lives in Berkshire, close to us in Henley, and her fabrics are inspired by the birds she can see from her studio window or when out and about walking her dog.
We love the exuberant colours of her Find the Birds fabrics, which build on the brilliance of her début collection, Alfie.

A little bird tells us there's a faster, simpler way to quilt
We're delighted to be the first to bring you Birdie Bird Batting: it's a revolutionary 100% cotton wadding sewn together with a layer of 100% cotton flannel, designed to grip your fabrics in place as you arrange them.
That means no need for tacking, basting, glueing or even pinning – you simply place your quilt top where you want it, and it'll stay put. Think of all the time you'll save!

The quilts from Down Under have gone up and over here in Henley

The stunning quilts of Megan Manwaring are now up and on show here in the Henley-on-Thames Warehouse, and we're still all gawping open-mouthed at just how fabulous they are.
You really should come and see them – the exhibition runs through to the end of this month, and is open 10am-4pm Tuesdays to Fridays, with a special Saturday opening this weekend.
