North East Mall and most brick and mortar stores are now beginning a new “revival” in sales and traffic, and the Mall has been able to maintain 95% store occupancy throughout. They are soon to open or have just recently opened several new stores, including Guana Café, K Momo, Shapers, Quicklotz and Tastebuds Live.

Hurst will also soon welcome three new restaurants to the area. Dixie House Café will be offering their highly popular home cooking when they open their new Hurst Café on Airport Freeway next month. Hattie Maries Texas BBQ & Cajun Kitchen will soon open their new BBQ & seafood restaurant on Grapevine Highway. And look for the new Hawaiian Bros. Island Grill to open in July on Airport Freeway and Precinct Line Road.
Hurst voters strongly supported the addition of packaged liquor stores to the roster of fine retailers in Hurst in the November 3rd election. Four new liquor stores will open in Hurst between now and the end of the year including Tarrant Liquor, Fossil Creek Liquor, Liquorland and Spec’s Wine, Spirits and Finer Foods.
