Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for benefits begins Tuesday, November 1, 2022, and runs through Monday, November 14, 2022.
If you want to make any changes to your current elections or if you would like to enroll, this is the time to do it. Any changes made will be effective January 1, 2023.
This year, we’ll be completing a passive open enrollment which means if you are happy with your current elections and do NOT wish to make any changes, then you do not need to do anything.

Safety
October is Fire Prevention Month
According to the National Fire Prevention Association, as outside temperatures begin to drop, home fires, death, and injuries begin to rise.
While we need to keep our homes and workspaces warm, there are steps we should all be taking to prevent a fire from igniting.
- Be sure that your heating source has been well maintained.
- Never walk away from an open flame.
- Don't hang or store clothing near a heating source.
- Don't let paper, oily rags, or other trash accumulate.
- Don't smoke in prohibited areas.
- Use proper, sealed containers for flammable liquids.
- Don't overload electric sockets - "one socket, one plug."
Being proactive with these steps will keep you and your family safe all year round.

Camille's Corner
October is Ergonomics Month
Now is a great time to be thinking about the relationship between your body and work environment. Body stress can be caused by awkward postures, extreme temperatures, or repetitive movements when the body is not ergonomically configured. Over time, these conditions may lead to discomfort, fatigue, and pain that can even lead to musculoskeletal disorders.
To maintain ergonomically sound body functions on a daily basis, we need to make sure they are operating efficiently at all times. Avoid placing unnecessary stress on your neck and back when working at a desk, by keeping your work space clear and your seat parallel. To reduce overexertion when operating machinery or lifting, be sure to stretch and take rest breaks.
We can improve our ergonomics by just making minor adjustments to our daily routines. Need assistance with adjusting your workspace to be ergonomically sound? Contact Camille to schedule an appointment!
