An In-Person Group will be held at the Highland's Family Success Center in early October! It will be great to see everyone in person! Please see below for detailed information.

JOIN ASCF'S NEW DAD CHAT

A virtual Dad Chat group is on Monday evenings. This is NOT counseling. This is a discussion for fathers to share their joys and frustrations. ASCF welcomes other male caregivers who are raising their special needs child(ren). No legal, medical advice or recommendations are given at any time. The Zoom link will be emailed the morning of the group.

"WHAT IS SPECIAL EDUCATION IN NEW JERSEY?

Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

This is an In-Person group. We will be meeting at the Highlands Family Success Center, 1801 Greenwood Lake Turnpike, Hewitt, NJ 07421.

This presentation is an overview of Special Education and Related Services. We will discuss the New Jersey Administrative Code for Special Education, and the Federal. Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) 2004, which are the laws that entitle children with disabilities a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment.
