Campus memories from past years
Thank you to those of you who responded to the Distance Learning Survey in the most recent edition of Hermosa Headlines. In response to your request for support, we have made the following adjustment to our weekly procedures:  E-II Distance Learning Packets will now be available on Friday’s for pickup

Your student's Distance Learning packets were previously picked up on Mondays. Now, they will be available to you, as requested, on Friday of each week, to be returned the following Friday.

This change is effective this week on Friday, August 28th. When you come to school on the 28th, please return your student's current packet, and pick up the packet for next week at the same time. Friday to Friday is the new schedule for pick-up and drop-off.

We appreciate your ongoing patience and support as we navigate our way together.

Campus memories from past years

If the Desert Was Crazy
A Poem by Aubrey Saavedra (Primary Student)

If the desert was crazy I would eat underwear stew
And I’d drink saguaros all day long
If the desert was crazy the dirt would be blue
And instead of birds, rattlesnakes would sing a song
If the desert was crazy I would play with a red cactus
Then after, I’d play with a purple water bottle
If the desert was crazy there would be a big palace
And I would play in a rocky puddle
If the desert was crazy I would find rainbow llamas
And I would find the pinkest giraffe
If the desert was crazy the llamas would wear pajamas
And the giraffe and I would laugh and laugh
Despite the challenges we face in these unprecedented time, we look forward to another year of cultivating young minds with value, virtue, and integrity at Hermosa Montessori.
