What’s Cooking in
Middle School?
Guardian Emails &
Breakout Classrooms
High schools around the country use multiple online classrooms. To readily prepare our Middle School students for this experience, our teachers have created multiple Google Classrooms to which the students have been invited, and where subject matter receives more focus. Moving forward, if you are signed up and receiving Guardian emails, you will now receive weekly emails from each subject’s Google Classroom. If you do not wish to receive these emails, simply follow the directions here under “Manage Summaries”.

Personal World
Personal World is an integral component in our Middle School Curriculum. Students take time out of each day to reflect on the world around them which tends to move so quickly. During this time, they journal, reflect, and contemplate, often on a piece of literature or quote provided to them.

This cycle, we are focused on Steven Covey’s
 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Ask your Middle School student about Personal World.

Each week, Elementary I students will bring home their white work rugs, gloves, and masks to be washed. Please remember to bring the clean items back to school on Monday.

Leopold, our EI community pet, likes to eat crickets. Can you help us feed Leopold by signing up to bring crickets weekly? They are available at local pet stores.
