Annette Llewellyn, HERS Program Director, met with
breast cancer advocate Nancy Githoitho of Limau Cancer Connection in Kenya. HERS donated surplus bras and prostheses (originally donated to HERS) to this great organization. Spreading Hope, Renewal, Empowerment and Support around the world!
We honored our administrative and community outreach volunteers with a dinner reception at the Fremont Program Store on April 16. Thanks to Annette Lewellyn, we all enjoyed a homemade pasta dinner. Volunteers also receive a small potted plant as a thank you gift.

We're so grateful for their dedication and all they do to support not only breast cancer survivors we serve but survivors from many other well-deserving organizations. Tri-Valley Socks is completely volunteer-run with their team spending countless hours planning their event. They are truly a Tri-Valley treasure!
