April 28, 2022
Dear Hart Families,

Happy Thursday! Can you believe that it is the last week of April? Our year is definitely flying by quickly.

I hope that you will be able to join us this Saturday at LHS for our annual STEMfest from 10 am - 1:30 pm. This is a come-and-go event so you can come before or after your Saturday activities. It is a fun, interactive day where students can SEE all things about STEM, LEARN all things about STEM, and DO all things related to STEM. Don't forget to check out the Hart "Cangineering" project and the hard work of our students. I promise that this is a can't miss event.

Our attendance is looking good! Thank you for coming to school and helping your child learn each and every day!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. I hope that you have a fantastic weekend.

All My Best,
Wendy Craft

Kinder, 1st, and 2nd Grade Talent Weeks: May 9th - 20th
It's time for our Kindergarten - 2nd Grade students to share their talents in music class! Here are a few points to keep in mind:

  • There are no sign up lists. Any students who wish to showcase their talent will perform either the week of the 9th or the 16th depending on how many students participate.
  • This is optional, and students not showcasing a talent will be part of the awesome audience!
  • Students will perform in music class for their homeroom peers only. Please see the chart below to see when your student has class:
  • All information can also be found on the Hart Music Website.
  • Acts will be 1 1/2 minutes or less and appropriate for school.
Bring all props to school the day your student will perform - classroom or
music room.
  • If your student will perform with recorded music, please upload the music (mp3, mp4, .wav) into the appropriate Google folder. Name the file with your student's name (ex. "Katrina Arabie_Let It Go").

Please contact katrina_arabie@lovejoyisd.net with any questions. I look forward to seeing our students shine!
The visit will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 17th. If you would like to order any of her books, the easiest place to get them is Amazon. Please send your books to the library with your child’s name on it. An autograph will be placed inside the books and sent home with your child. Ms. Markle is guaranteed to provide a fun and exciting presentation to our leopards! Thanks to the Hart PTO for generously sponsoring this program!
