September 30, 2021
Dear Hart Families,

We have had a very busy week. All of our students are enjoying the book fair, and I love to watch them pick the perfect book. Don't forget that it is open tonight until 6 pm. It will be closing tomorrow around noon.

On Wednesday, we had the opportunity to celebrate our Heart of a Teacher and Heart of Support for September. Mrs. Bright, our 4th-grade special education teacher, has a unique gift of figuring out exactly what a student needs in order to be set up for success. Mrs. Quigley is one of our amazing Special Education aides. She always has a positive and lifts every child up. We are so blessed that they are a part of our team! A big thank you to Brad & Kasey Havens, proud parents of a 3rd grader at Hart, for sponsoring this special celebration.
Tomorrow, we will celebrate our Custodians for Custodian Day. Our custodial staff works tirelessly to ensure that our school is clean each and every day for our students and staff. They are definitely the unsung heroes of our community. We can never thank them enough for all that they do.
We do need your help with a couple of things.
  • Please do NOT drop your child off before 7:15 each day. We do not have staff available to watch them prior to this time.
  • Please do NOT enter the building in the morning. If you are walking your child to school, then you need to leave your child at the door.
  • If you are visiting our school for any reason, please enter the front doors, complete the health form, and sign in. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our students safe.
  • As a reminder, in the mornings, the far entrance to our parking lot on Estelle is exit only. If you are choosing to park and walk your child in, please park outside of the fence. We encourage everyone to use our car arrival line each day. In the afternoons, it is an entrance and exit.
  • Please notify Nurse Debbie with any COVID updates, questions, or concerns. Her number is 469-742-8156.
Lastly, I would like to introduce you to Andrew Veibell, son of a Hart community family who graciously volunteered to help us every morning and every afternoon.  He enjoys helping others and supporting his community.

I hope that you enjoy your weekend. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me.
All My Best,
Wendy Craft

LISD Socioeconomic Information Form
This year, all Lovejoy ISD parents are asked to complete the LISD Socioeconomic Information Form, regardless of socioeconomic need. State and federal funds are allocated to school districts based on this information.
If you have already completed this form for 2021-2022 you do not need to complete another form. However, if you have not completed this form for the 2021-2022 school year, please click Socioeconomic Information Form to download the form, complete one form per student and return it either to the campus PEIMS personnel (Alis Brantl) or to PEIMS Coordinator, 259 Country Club Rd, Allen, TX 75002 by October 8, 2021.

If you prefer to complete the form online, please click On-line Socio Economic Information Form. We still require this to be completed for each student.

Please note that this form is not sent to the Texas Education Agency and that the income levels indicated for your family are not reported to the Texas Education Agency. Only the Economic Disadvantaged status of each student as determined by the information provided is reported to the Texas Education Agency.
Book Fair: Last Chance to Shop!
The Book Fair is open late tonight until 6:00pm and until noon tomorrow. We accept EWallet or Credit Card. We will do our best to make sure your child spends all of his/her money on the EWallet Account. In the event they do not, you have two ways to spend it...

1. Spend them at the online Scholastic store which has hundreds of items not at the book fair.
2. The balance will stay in the account until the next Scholastic Book Fair which will be held in the spring.

Please click here to learn more about the Book Fair.

Books truly do bring us together!
Water Bottles: Please Send a Water Bottle With Your Student Each Day
Please make sure you send a water bottle to school with your student each day. We have several water bottle fillers in the school that students can use to refill their water bottle if it runs out.

Please note: We have lots of water bottles in Lost and Found in the Cafeteria if your child is missing his/her water bottle.
