Dear Parents,

Happy Thursday! We have had an awesome short week of school. We are very excited to welcome our Grandparents next week for Grandparent's Day.  This is simply an opportunity for us to honor our sweet Grandparents.  Enjoy lunch together, take a picture, and say thank you.  As a reminder, if the Grandparent would like to eat lunch, then they need to bring their lunch with them.  Our guests will not be allowed to go through our cafeteria line. Thank you in advance for understanding.  I would highly recommend that you plan ahead because we are expecting a large crowd, and we have to individually check each person in through our system.  I am excited for us to create great memories for our students next week.

As a reminder, if you are utilizing park and pick up or our "walker" system, then you must park on Hart property.  Therefore, you can park  in our parking lot, or in the grass area off of Estelle and Spurgin Road along the fence line.  Please do not parallel park in these areas, park vertically.  We appreciate your support in respecting our neighbors' property.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please let me know.

All My Best,

Wendy Craft

  • Borrowed Clothing: Kids from all grade levels during the school year come to the clinic for a change of clothing for various reasons (falling in mud, bathroom accidents, etc.). We try to loan out clothes when possible. The clinic needs boys and girls clothing (tops, bottoms, unused underwear, and socks) in every elementary age.
  • You may want to have your child keep a change of clothes in their backpack if they frequently need a change of clothes or are in grade levels Kindergarten through 1st grade. In order for us to help other children, please return any borrowed clothing (except underwear) after washing to the clinic.

Volunteer Background Check

We love volunteers at HES, but in order to volunteer or go on a  field trip, then you must have an updated Volunteer Background check for the current school year. Please complete your background check now!
