Important Updates for Homeless Liaisons

The California Department of Education (CDE) and Homeless Education Technical Assistance Centers (HETACs) have implemented a new process for collecting and maintaining homeless liaison contact information for county offices of education (COEs), local educational agencies (LEAs) and charter schools.

CDE and HETAC now use a streamlined Google Update Form to collect and maintain liaison contact information.

Please review your contact information on CDE's LEA Liaison Contact List. If your name, title, phone number, or email address has changed, or if your LEA or charter school is not listed, please submit updates using the Google Update Form provided by CDE and HETAC. If your information is current, no action is required.

Please note that updates may take several weeks to be reflected on CDE’s liaison contact lists. Maintaining accurate liaison information helps ensure timely communication and access to support for students, families, youth, and community partners.
