The Disability/Chronic Illness Affinity Group is a space for networking, mentorship, and advocacy within HFES. This group is meant for people identifying as disabled or living with a chronic health condition.
All are welcome to our October online meeting taking place from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Meet Us In DC for the 2023 HFES ErgoX Symposium
Make plans to attend an exceptional education activity on October 23 – the HFES 9th ErgoX Symposium! This one-day symposium will showcase the latest ergonomics science in workplace health, safety, wellness, and injury prevention across a variety of domains and settings.

Kermit Davis and Hongwei Hsiao Receive International Ergonomics Association Fellows Award
Fellow status in IEA recognizes extraordinary or sustained, superior accomplishments of an individual and the candidate’s distinction as an ergonomics professional. Candidates for IEA Fellow must have been a Full Member in good standing in a Federated or Affiliated Ergonomics Society for at least 10 years, and have served the ergonomics community at an international level, including service to the IEA. An extensive publication record in international journals or international consulting or service to the United Nations organizations or similar further distinguishes candidates.
