Happy Holidays from HFES!

On behalf of the Executive Council, the HFES family would like to wish you a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year.

I want to personally thank you for choosing HFES as your professional family and for your continuous support of the Society. It is through your ongoing membership that HFES can connect the HF/E field, advocate on your behalf, and continue to serve as the conduit for knowledge exchange within our community. If you have not yet, I encourage you to renew your membership today for the 2022 calendar year.

I also want to recognize and thank the more than 400 volunteers to the society who have taken time out of their busy schedules to contribute further to the mission of HFES during another challenging year, both in-person and virtually.

The upcoming year will bring many new things to HFES, such as our first-ever Titans of HFES Symposium. You--our members--are the driving force behind HFES and we are committed to increasing the benefits provided to you. I hope you have a prosperous and healthy upcoming year.

I look forward to meeting you personally at one of the upcoming HFES events whether that is the Health Care Symposium in New Orleans, or ErgoX and Annual Meeting in Atlanta.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.

The appointment was announced by Mung Chiang, the John A. Edwardson Dean of the College of Engineering and Purdue’s executive vice president for strategic initiatives. “It’s a great time for piloting new activities and preparing the best possible foundation for Prof. Son’s arrival in June,” Caldwell said. “I’m extremely grateful to Prof. Abhi Deshmukh for his Rethink IE vision and especially the great financial foundation he has laid for the school to enable us to move forward.”
