How many servings of fruits and vegetables do YOU eat? Evidence shows that there are significant health benefits to eating
at least 5 portions a day.
According to the most recent Ottawa County Community Health Needs Assessment, the Proportion of adults with adequate fruits/vegetable consumption (5 or more per day) went down from 29.5% in 2014 to just 17.6% in 2017. People with Diabetes should eat fruits and vegetables too, but it's important to know which are best for controlling blood sugar levels.
